Select iPhone or iPad in the studio, upload a PNG, and download a ZIP. The default export contains two alternative AppIcon.appiconset folders, each with a Contents.json file:
- SingleSize: a 1024 × 1024 universal icon for Xcode to scale, with optional dark and tinted appearances when selected.
- AllSizes: separate iPhone or iPad PNGs for the traditional notification, settings, Spotlight, and home-screen slots, plus 1024 × 1024 App Store artwork.
- Universal: when both iPhone and iPad are selected, a combined AllSizes catalog for one universal iOS target.
Copy one catalog into a target. The folders are alternatives, not additional icon slots to merge.

The AllSizes catalog names each file and maps it to its Xcode slot in Contents.json.
How to add the icon to Xcode
- Choose iPhone, iPad, or both and export the ZIP from the studio.
- Extract the ZIP and open the relevant
iOSfolder. - Copy the
AppIcon.appiconsetfrom either SingleSize or AllSizes into your app target'sAssets.xcassets. - In Xcode, confirm that the target uses that App Icon set, then build and inspect it on a device.
New layered Liquid Glass icons need final work in Apple's Icon Composer. The studio exports flat PNG artwork and Xcode catalogs.
Tips for a clean app icon
Start with a square PNG at 1024 pixels or larger. Keep the main symbol simple enough to read at small sizes. Preview dark and light contexts, and leave room around the mark so platform masks and effects do not hide important details.
